Youth in Crisis
When your child is out of control it can feel like there is nothing you can do. Or that all of your energy is devoted to keeping your child safe. This is exhausting and scary for you. And even more so for your child.
Is your child acting violently or dangerously, using drugs or alcohol, or threatening to harm himself or others? Is this behavior more than you can handle on your own?

Our skilled clinical team offers a range of crisis supports tailored to your family’s unique needs. From community-based emergency mental health assistance within 45 minutes to clinic-based counseling services within two hours, to our research-based substance use programs, we will help heal your child in crisis. And help you get your family back on track.
Emergency Mobile Crisis Services
When your child is out of control it can feel like there is nothing you can do. Trained experts know how to help and are just a phone call away.
Call 2-1-1 if your child is:
- Putting themselves or others in harm’s way
- Acting violently
- Angry and behaving dangerously.
A mobile crisis team member can get to you within 45 minutes. We’ll help you get things under control right away and provide up to six weeks of follow up support.
2-1-1 calls and services are free, confidential and always available.
Outpatient Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Services
We provide mental health services to children and families experiencing emotional and behavioral concerns. While most children require routine support, our team is able to accommodate families within two days—or even two hours—depending on the level of urgency. Psychiatric services and medication management are also available.
Substance Use Programs
Underage drinking and drug use is sky-rocketing in Connecticut. We work with youth to help them develop pro-social activities and behaviors to prevent or decrease the use of controlled substances. For parents who struggle with substance use and are at risk of their children removed from the home, we offer intensive in-home support
