Give Today for a Better Tomorrow.
For the past 100 years, the Child & Family Guidance Center has been meeting
the mental health needs of children in the community.
We have been meeting the mental health needs of children in the community for the past 100 years. We provide children and families with culturally informed mental health care and complementary supports, regardless of ability to pay. Our continuum of care includes outpatient behavioral health and psychiatric services, emergency support, and the tools for long-term emotional and psychological health. As an Enhanced Care Clinic, new clients can receive appointments within 2 weeks of outreach, and mobile crisis can be at someone’s home to respond to a mental health emergency within 45 minutes.
Learn More About Community Support for Families
Our donors support our mission in many ways, but the first step to caring for something is learning about it. Here is a video of John Skelly, a longtime donor for the Community Support for Families. John’s donations help the team to provide essential resources and services to families in need, such as support for utility bills, infant care supplies, and holiday meals.

Our Mission
We provide children and families with culturally-informed mental health care and complementary supports, regardless of ability to pay.
Our goal is for all Fairfield County children to be emotionally and psychologically healthy so that they can reach their maximum potential at home, at school, and in life.
