Mobile Crisis Intervention Services (MCIS)
When your child is out of control it can feel like there is nothing you can do. Trained experts know how to help and are just a phone call away.
Call 2-1-1 if your child is:
- Putting themselves or others in harm’s way
- Acting violently
- Angry and behaving dangerously.
A mobile crisis team member can get to you within 45 minutes. We’ll help you get things under control right away and provide up to six weeks of follow up support.
2-1-1 calls and services are free, confidential and always available.

Outpatient Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Services
We provide mental health services to children and families experiencing emotional and behavioral concerns. While most children require routine support, our team is able to accommodate families within two days—or even two hours—depending on the level of urgency. Psychiatric services and medication management are also available.
Substance Use Programs
Underage drinking and drug use is sky-rocketing in Connecticut. We work with youth to help them develop pro-social activities and behaviors to prevent or decrease the use of controlled substances. For parents who struggle with substance use and are at risk of their children removed from the home, we offer intensive in-home support
